Naina is a logo designer and a photographer and she also paints.

She lives in the National Capital Region of India. Versatile with acrylics and oils, she experiments.

She draws inspiration, sometimes, from these little snippets she publishes on the web, called Thoughtwasps.

She can safely say that she has hundreds of ideas for paintings.

But she will probably never be able to convert all of them onto canvas pieces – oil just doesn’t dry as fast as she would like!

Her camera is one of her trusty companions, apart from B.

The biggest trouble Naina faces, is giving names to her artwork. It’s like knowing someone all their life and then being asked to give them a suitable name.

Some of her favorite words are : chocolate, slab, highway, fuck, shadeheart, khaosphilos, phoenix, axe, snitch and a whole load of abuses in Hindi.

Naina loves Chiarli’s Lambrusco.

While abstract is easy to do, it’s the semi-abstract that produces sweet spots. Not as easy to do though.

Naina hopes this page will not get out of control.

Aren’t these ampersands lovely!

Nose-hair bothers me. So does the Delhi heat. (Ooops! Sudden switch from the third person to the first person!)

I don’t like it when my friends party without me. I hate to let go. I love my friends. You CAN be in love with more than one person.

Everything about the human condition is intriguing.

emotionvoid is supposed to be this representation of everything that is without emotion.

Which is like a farce more than a reality – hypocrisy really.

That’s the idea behind all the art.
